The proper way to use eye drops / eye ointments

•  When using eye medications at the first time, please mark down the date. It cannot be used after one month.

• When using eye ointment, you should first have cut your fingernails and washed your hands.

• Open your eyes and use the finger to pull down your lower eyelid (picture shown below) Dropper tip should keep 1-inch distance from the eye. Then, squeeze the dropper and a single drop will fall into the lower eyelid. Close your eye for 5 minutes.

• The procedure of using eye ointment is the same as that of the eye drop. Squeeze 1/4 inch ribbon of ointment into the lower eyelid. Then close your eye for 15 minutes.

• If there are two kinds of eye drops, use the first one and drop another one after 5 minutes.

• If there is eye drop and also eye ointment, use the eye drop first and use the eye ointment after 5 minutes.

• Use the medicines on time

If drug allergy occurs after using the medicine like swelling, pain or other continuous vision loss, you should stop using and bring along the medications to see the doctor.
