Project Concern was invited by Silence to conduct oral health talk to 27 people who are deaf and hearing-impaired.  A senior dental surgery assistant was assigned to introduce common dental disease and the prevention of those diseases.  She also demonstrated the proper teeth-brushing procedures to the participants.  The talk was interpreted by sign language.
