Tsz Lok Community Health Carnival – Chinese Medicine Health Talk on Respiratory Disease

Speaker: Mr. Lau Ho Chuen, Chinese Medicine Practitioner
With the kind assistance of Tsz Lok Estate Management Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Housing Authority, a home visit to 200 live-alone elders at Tsz Lok Estate was held in November 2013. “Tsz Lok Community Health Carnival” was also held on 7 December 2013. The content of the event include games, Chinese medicine health talk, vision assessment, blood glucose test, health screening etc. Mr. Lau Ho Chuen, a registered CMP, conducted a health talk about respiratory disease and more than 30 people attended the talk. After the talk, Mr. Lau also provided free Chinese medicine consultation to the participants.
Chinese Medicine Health Talk on Respiratory Disease

Organizer: PCHK Medical Services
The talk was organized by PCHK Medical Services and aimed to introduce the respiratory disease treatment in Chinese medicine. About 30 people attended the talk.
Game Booth on Healthy Diet in Autumn and Winter

Venue: Tsz Lok Estate Plaza, Tsz Wan Shan
Organizer: Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong
The event was organized by Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong and invited non-government organizations in Wong Tai Sin district to provide various game booths to the public. PCHK Medical Services was invited to provide a game booth on healthy diet in Chinese medicine. More than 400 people participated in the event.

The event was held by Wong Tai Sin District Healthy and Safety City and Hong Kong Council of Smoking and Health. Project Concern was invited to provide game booth with a theme on healthy diet in Chinese Medicine. There were about 100 people participated in game booth.
Health Talk and Fitness Training Class: Theory of Chinese Medicine in Qiqong

The health talk and training class was held by PCHK Medical Services and co-organized by “有米媽媽同樂會”. There were 50 people attended the class. Mr. Leung first conducted a health talk on qigong and its theory in Chinese medicine. After the talk, he demonstrated the qigong exercise to the participants.

The event was organized by the Chinese Rhenish Church Hong Kong Synod Choi Wan Rhenish Integrated Children and Youth Services Centre. Project Concern was invited to provide game booth with a theme on seasonal diet in Chinese Medicine. There were about 120 people participated in game booth.

She also demonstrated the way of acupoint pressing to the participants. There were about 150 people attended the talk.
