2021 Eye Health Education Program
Care for Your Eyes in Community

Venue: Atrium, 1/F, Dragon Centre, 37K Yen Chow Street, Shamshuipo, Kowloon.

The event was funded by HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme to provide free eye health screening to the people in Shamshuipo district. The content of event included visual acuity test, cataract screening, macular screening by fundas carema and intra-ocular pressure measurement. Free eye health screening was provided to 81 people and some of them were referred for further eye specialist consultation or refractive examination in our clinic. A registered optometrist from The Hong Kong Optometrist Association and some fitness trainers from Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong China were invited to introduce the eye health knowlege and eye health exerice to the public. About 100 people attended the eye health talk and eye health exercise workshop.

"Silence" invited us to provide an eye health talk for their members in the form of live webinar via Zoom. The talk was co-organized with The Hong Kong Optometric Association (HKOA). Ｄr. Chung Chi Lik, registered optometrist, of HKOA introduced the common eye diseases and the eye care knowledge to more the 10 participants of the centre.

Eye Care Video Shooting
We were invited by the Hong Kong Jockey Cub and the online channel "健康旦" to have a video shooting at our Health Education and Resource Centre on 9 February 2021. Our Executive Director introduced the services of Project Concern and the President of Hong Kong Optometric Association shared the eye health care knowledge.
