Maintenance of Removable Denture

1. Clean the denture after meal

 Take off the denture after each meal. Then, clean oddments and dental plaque which accumulate on the edge of denture by using the tooth-brush and denture cleansers to prevent the discoloration of denture.

2. Soak the denture before sleep

Take off the denture before sleep and put it into the water to soak it.  When immersing the denture, DO NOT use hot water as it will make the denture deformed easily.

3. Replace the denture regularly

Denture should be replaced regularly. If you feel uncomfortable when using denture, you should bring along your denture and seek oral consultation from a registered dentist for repair and replacement.
