2019 Oral Health Education Program   

Jockey Club Mobile Dental Services - Smiley Action in Community (Kwun Tong)

Date: 7 December, 2019 (Saturday)
Venue: Basketball Court next to Tsui Ying House, Tsui Ping (South) Estate, Kwun Tong

Oral health screening was provided to 164 adults and 58 children (including flouride treatment). On-site extraction treatment was undergone to 8 adults. There were total 800 people participants in the event. Complicated treatment was advised and referred to those who are in need, under the dental treatment sponsorship programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Venue: Open Area outside Fu Cheong Shopping Centre, Fu Cheong Estate, Sham Shui Po

Oral health screening was provided to 167 adults and 129 children (including flouride treatment). On-site extraction treatment was undergone to 11 adults. There were total 900 people participants in the event. Complicated treatment was advised and referred to those who are in need, under the dental treatment sponsorship programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Yes I Can! Healthy Lifestyle Carnival

Date: 1 June, 2019 (Saturday)
Time: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Venue: Southorn Playground, Wanchai, Hong Kong

The event was co-organized by Department of Health and Hong Kong Women Development Association. They invited non-government organizations to provide health related booths for the carnival to promote healthy lifestyle.  Project Concern provided oral health education and introduce our mobile dental vehicle to the public.  A senior dental surgery assistant also taught the proper way of tooth brushing to the public on the mobile dental vehicle.  There were 80 people who visited our mobile dental vehicle during the event.

Love Teeth Day 2019 (Ka Fuk Estate)

Date: 9 March, 2019 (Saturday)
Time:  11:30am - 5:00pm
Venue: Open Area outside Fuk Tai House, Ka Fuk Estate, Fanling

The event was co-organized by The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry, and supported by The District Council Office of Wan Wo Tat Warwick.   Oral health screening was provided to 87 adults and 63 children (including flouride treatment).  On-site extraction treatment was undergone to 4 adults.  There were total 300 people participants in the event.

   

     

Love Teeth Day 2019 (Lei Muk Shu Estate)

Time:  11:30am - 5:00pm
Venue: Open Area between Lei Muk Shu Shopping Centre and Chui Shu House, Lei Muk Shu Estate, Tsuen Wan

The event was co-organized by The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry, and supported by The District Council Office of Wong Ka Wa and Sumly Chan Yuen Sum.   Oral health screening was provided to 106 adults and 54 children (including flouride treatment).  On-site extraction treatment was undergone to 4 adults.  There were total 400 people participants in the event.


     
     


Tsz Lok Health Carnival 2019

Date: 12 January, 2019 (Saturday)
Time:  11:30am - 5:00pm
Venue: Open Area outside Lok Shun House, Tsz Lok Estate, Tsz Wan Shan

The event was funded by Tsz Lok Estate Management Advisory Committee.  Free oral health screening and scaling was provided to the participatns on the mobile dental buses.   Free oral health talk, oral health education booth were provided on the site.  There were totally 465 people participated in the event.
