2023 Oral Health Education Program

Love Teeth Day 2023

This event was collaborated with Inner City Ministries to provide free oral health screening, oral health consultation and oral health education to the ethnic minorities.  57 participants recevied oral health screening and 5 of them received on-site scaling and extraction on our mobile dental vehicle during the day of the event.

 
 



Oral Health Talk - Common Dental Diseases

Project Concern was invitied by Baptist Rainbow Primary School to conduct oral health talk to primary 3 and 4 students.  Ms. Susanna Ho, dental surgery assistant, was assigned to introduce common dental diseases and the prevention of those diseases.  She also demonstrated the proper teeth-brushing procedures to about 100 primary 3 and 4 students.

This event was collaborated with Tsim Sha Tsui District Kaifong Welfare Association to provide free oral health screening, oral health consultation and oral health education to the elderly.  About 50 participants joined this event and 6 of them received on-site scaling and extraction on our mobile dental vehicle during the day of the event.

   



On-Site Dental Service (Shek Kip Mei)

This event was collaborated with Silence to serve their service users, under the dental treatment sponsorship programme funded by S.K. Yee Medical Foundation. Sign language interpreters were present to assist with the event. Oral health screening and oral health education was provided to 16 people. Furthermore, this was the first time that Slience had organized such a special dental serive in over a devade.
